Skills

  • Mad Enhancement (E): Madness is barely a haze. Rank E leaves conversation intact, so the mystery can still talk, joke, and travel with Flat.
  • Thousand Faces (A): The killer's identity was never fixed, so the Saint Graph shapeshifts through suspects, objects, and masks—including a wristwatch.
  • Information Erasure (B): Traces of presence fade after withdrawal, echoing a murderer who left a city full of theories and almost no usable certainty.
  • Murderer of the Misty Night (A): Fog, night, and the Whitechapel stage as a combat bonus. The mist is both London weather and the legend's natural habitat.

Noble Phantasms

  • From Hell · Anti-Unit (A+~E-): A demonic manifestation that scales with population density. In a packed city the mystery becomes a monster; in emptiness the rank withers. Alcides later steals this Noble Phantasm.
  • Natural Born Killers · Anti-Unit (—): Duplicate bodies grown from the swarm of identity theories—each famous suspect a possible face, none of them the 'true' Jack, because the Servant is the unsolved case itself.

Personality

Chaotic Evil as a principle of murder, yet sociable enough at Mad Enhancement E to walk beside Flat Escardos like a bizarre familiar. It is curious, theatrical, and hungry for the next shape. It is not a child of the mist from Apocrypha; it is the case file given a body.

Story in Fate

False Berserker of Snowfield is the embodiment of the mystery of Jack the Ripper's identity, not a single suspect made flesh. It shapeshifts through forms—including a wristwatch—and travels with Flat Escardos, whose genius treats the horror as a companion. It is distinct from Fate/Apocrypha's child Assassin Jack, the mist of abandoned children. Here the unsolved file is the Heroic Spirit. From Hell becomes a density-scaled demon; Natural Born Killers multiplies theories into extra corpses. Alcides later rips From Hell away with Reincarnation Pandora.

Relationships

  • Flat Escardos — Master; a prodigy who treats the shapeshifting killer as a partner on the road.
  • Alcides — Thief of From Hell via Reincarnation Pandora.
  • Apocrypha's Jack the Ripper — A different Saint Graph (child Assassin); this Berserker is the mystery itself.
  • Whitechapel's victims — The historical dead whose names the legend still lists.

Trivia

  • Kenjiro Tsuda voices this Jack, a very different presence from Sakura Tange's Apocrypha Assassin.
  • A wristwatch form is one of the novel's famous shapeshifts.
  • From Hell's rank slides with how many people are packed around the mystery.
  • Mad Enhancement E is why a Berserker can still hold a conversation.
