Skills

  • Presence Concealment (A+): Top-class Assassin stealth; each persona can infiltrate separately until attacking.
  • Projectile (Daggers) (C): Coordinated dirk attacks from multiple bodies.
  • Library of Knowledge (C): Shared information network across divided personas—espionage as distributed mind.
  • Independent Action (C): Split bodies can operate with limited Master contact, though quality varies by fragment.

Noble Phantasms

  • Zabaniya: Delusional Illusion · Anti-Unit (B+): Divides the Servant's existence into up to roughly a hundred distinct personas—each a fragment with its own face, skill bias, and body. Perfect for infiltration and swarm tactics, but each death permanently weakens the whole.

Personality

Fragmented. Individual personas range from calm professionals to impulsive hotheads; as a collective they serve the Hassan creed and Master orders. In Fate/Zero the swarm shows both cunning reconnaissance and fatal overconfidence against superior Servants.

Story in Fate

Assassin of the Fourth Holy Grail War in Fate/Zero, Hundred Faces is contracted through the Tohsaka–Church arrangement and used primarily for spying. Zabaniya: Delusional Illusion multiplies them across Fuyuki until confrontations with Servants like Gilgamesh annihilate fragments. Fate/Grand Order later summons the Hassan as a playable Assassin retaining the multi-persona identity.

Relationships

  • Kirei Kotomine / Risei Kotomine — Church-side handlers in the Fourth War structure.
  • Tokiomi Tohsaka — Beneficiary of Assassin's intelligence role.
  • Gilgamesh — Executor of many personas in Zero's brutal demonstrations.
  • Other Hassans — Sibling titles under the Old Man of the Mountain system.

Trivia

  • Anime credits list multiple voice actors for different faces—hence 'Various (Hundred Faces).'
  • Delusional Illusion's weakness: dividing power means each body is frail versus Knight classes.
  • Primary masked design still reads as classic Hassan skull motif.
  • FGO gameplay sometimes represents the swarm fantasy through kit mechanics and animation.
